Here are the directions to make Creamy Chicken with Mushrooms...
- Slice chicken breast in half, lengthwise.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper garlic powder, and thyme.
- Add butter to a large pan and melt over medium heat.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes or until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
- Add chicken to pan and cook 5-7 minute on each side.
- Once chicken is almost cooked, add mushrooms and continue to cook until most of the liquid has evaporated and chicken is no longer pink inside.
- Pour heavy cream and add parmesan.
- Cook until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil.
- Serve chicken over a green salad.
